The Moto Chain-Mate is a new motorcycle maintenance tool kit which is used to help riders clean and lubricate their motorcycle chain effectively and efficiently.The Moto Chain-Mate kit consists of a stable base plate where cleaning and lubrication agents are stored. Two telescopic rods extend from the base plate; these are used to position the chain bath directly under the motorcycle chain while on the center or rear stand. The rods adjust to the desired chain geometry (height and angle) as required.The kit is universal and can be used on left or right hand drive train set-ups. On top of the rods lay the chain bath and overspray protection cap. The motorcycle chain runs between the bath and cap during the cleaning and lubrication process. This chamber prevents any overspray sticking to your tires, wheels, swingarms etc.The excess cleaning agent and lube run down the bath to drain where it is then collected in a catch bottle. A drip mat is also provided if needed during a heavy cleaning session to catch any excess drips that run off the chain. The kit also comes with the Crud Brush. This is used to free up any crud and grime on during the chain cleaning process. Its large open 90 degree head allows for plenty of flexibility during the chain cleaning process. The opposite end of the brush consists of a sleek arrow head design which works its magic in tight confined spaces such as sprockets, swingarms and wheels.
