I am happy that it is of perfect dimension for the space below my Kenmore fridge where the condenser coils are. The diameter of the brush (the narrow part and the large part) are just right. The length of handle is also just right. Though I was tempted to clean the area without the proper brush, doing so was ineffective and unsafe: to me and to the coils themselves. I am glad I bought this brush. As an aside: I couldn't reach the power cord to unplug the fridge before cleaning, so for safety, I powered off the fridge at the breaker box instead.Every refrigerator should come with one! I have an old Kenmore bottom freezer fridge and noticed the fan was running for long time, stop for a bit, then fire up again. One day I pulled the grill and saw that the coils were packed with lint and hair. My vacuum barely made a dent so I ordered this brush. It's long enough to get all the way through the coils and the perfect diameter and stiffness to pull out the dust and hair. Be sure to turn your vacuum on and set the hose right next to the brush as you pull it out to catch as much dust as possible. Mine was so bad that I pulled the back panel off and brushed out the remaining dirt. I'll be sure to use this brush on all three fridges monthly from now on.I had recently read where keeping the coils on your refrigerator is important for maintenance and energy saving. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use and how well it worked.Bought this for a Samsung fridge and to clean the coils was a bit difficult as the brush head diameter was wider than the space between the coils. I could've really put a lot of force behind it to clean it out but chose not to and just got what I could. Didnt really "hold" a lot of debris and/or dust so I ended up using canned air and a shop vac for the rest. I can see it working well on other coils with wider spacing but not a Samsung RF267 series. 4 star due to the lack of debris retention.Great toolFor cleaning coils easyThis coil brush really performed! With the addition of a vacuum cleaner slim headed tool I was able to give the refrigerator condenser the full treatment! My refrigerator (33 years old GE!!) was giving up the ghost. I realized I had not cleaned it underneath for some years after not having dogs. Well, I got another dog and a year into the new long-haired dog the magnificent refrigerator was not making ice or cooling. I was looking at $2,000 to $3,000 replacement. I can imagine that many people replace their refrigerator without bothering to check the coil. I checked the coil on my other smaller refrigerators and they all got the treatment. Moral of the story, don't be lazy - get this brush and clean the condenser! My refrigerator is very happy and so I am I!Simple quick and easy to use.Pro: Really good for the dryer reaching in the lint filter compartment... pulls out a lot of fuzz. Seems well made, nice wood handle and good wirebrissels.Con: Fatter than expected, not really much good for cleaning the fridge coils under the side by side. Doesn't fit amongst the coils. This thing works really well and is definitely worth the money. It can access difficult spots underneath and around your fridge and pulls out all the dust than can impede the efficiency of the cooling coils.
