At first glance this looks like just what the doctor ordered for angling your pool brush if you have hard to reach places. I was going to build something out of PVC pipe but saw this unit.Insert into pole. Check. Insert into brush. Check. Push buttons in to set angle. Check. Begin brushing wall...pop! You hear, feel and see the unit straighten out. This happens each and every single time you exert even a little pressure against the wall while the unit is set to any angle. I would say it is worthless, except that I added a metal brace that forces it to stay on the angle to which it is set. So, I made it work, but only for the one angle. It's basically the PVC pipe I was going to build.
