These aren't as easy to walk around in as some ppl make them look. however I'm not giving up, even tho I'm 48, I'm gonna keep practicing on them and maybe I'll be moving around on them soon. I have a friend who is an Army vet. Now it didn't happen in action but it did happen to him and that was he lost both of his legs. I've only known this guy for a few months and I have not heard him say anything negative about the loss of his legs except for being a burden on family and friends. I've learned a lot from my friend, the past few months and now I look at the everyday things I use to take for granted and I appreciate them more and I thank God, for what I have because I know it can be gone with a blink of an eye. I bought the stilks, for work and I have wanted a pair for years and I finally got some around the same time I met my buddy. He's planning on getting prosthetic legs soon and I can see he is worried about not being able to walk with him, even though he has not said that. So I'm gonna learn how to walk with the stilks, and try to be an inspiration, to him as he has been to me. So they are well built and I look forward to walking around with them one day soon.
